DIY Bow Back Shirt

Making your own bow back shirt is indubitably simple and takes only a few minutes. 

You will need:

• A shirt
• scissors
• small pieces of lace or whatever you want to create your bow with
• needle & thread. (you can opt for super glue instead!)

And there you go!

Yay for the continuation of my bow infatuation. (:

Her hair looks super easy to do but looks lovely on her! Curl it using a one inch curling iron by NOT using the clamp; just wrap a half-inch section of hair around the entire barrel and hold for ten seconds, let go, and move on to another section of hair until all the hair is curled. Slightly twist and pin back the front 2 inches of hair, and WHA-LA!. I also like her dress and how it emphasizes her eyes! (: Very pirate-y. SPEAKING OF WHICH, I STILL GOTTA WATCH THIS MOVIE, Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides.

I usually am not a fan of the tightly curled side pony tail, but this hair style is loose enough on top to make it look gorgeous on her. The scarf also adds a chic-ness to the hair and outfit. Love!

PS, does anyone else notice a resemblance to Anne Hathaway here?

Forever 21 Floral Print Shirts and Dresses

If you were to buy me a shirt and ask me for one specific characteristic in which you should avoid, I would say this: flower/floral prints. I am very picky when it comes to any sort of repeated print on my shirts: I absolutely despise animal prints of any sort on any article of clothing; I do not like stripes that are too wide or too narrow; the colors have to be complementary; must not be overwhelming or too subtle. I know, I am a fashion snob. Usually, I find flowers on any article of clothing rather tacky and child-ish. However, I don't know if it's the spring mood finally getting to me, or if I'm just terribly fond of some of these flower prints from Forever 21's spring collection: (NOTE: If the links don't work, that means the item is out of stock already! Sorry!)
