Winter Formal Checklist (to bring to the dance)

This post is a tie-in to my Tips on preparing for Winter Formal Dance/Prom post.

Whenever I take a trip somewhere, even if it's just leaving my house for a few hours, I am always paranoid about forgetting things, because I tend to, well, forget. Without further ado, I would like to share with you, my Winter Formal Checklist for any sort of formal dance. I am including more things than I am actually bringing because everyone's needs vary. Make this list suitable for you!

• Your corsage
• Wallet (money, school ID card, dance ticket, photo reservation ticket)
• Makeup (lipstick, lipgloss, lip balm, eyeliner (waterproof?), mascara (saw some great reviews on the Maybelline Full 'n' Soft [Waterproof] mascara on makeupalley.com), concealer, makeup removing wipes, oil blotting sheets)
• Hair supplies (bobby pins, small bottle of hairspray (your can just pour some of your favorite hairspray in a mini spray bottle))
• Lotion
• Tampons/ Pads, just in case!
• Jacket
• Phone
• Camera
• Band-aids (when your shoes start hurting! you don't want blisters)
• Your date (teehee)

Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm Review

It's pretty average. Nothing special, really. This Honey Lip Balm really doesn't smell or feel or taste like honey. (Yeah, some of it went in my mouth) What's quite shocking is that it smells like.. Johnson and Johnson's Baby Powder. I'm not quite fond of that odor because it reminds me of baby butts which remind me of poop. In other words, I don't like the smell. Why am I using it then? BECAUSE I LOST MY OTHER LIP BALM. YEAH, THE ONE I LOVED.

I'm pretty sure I still like Burt's Bees products. After all, my second favorite Lip Balm is the Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. That one smells so delicious (=

All of the Burt's Bees Lip Balms I've used are what they say they are: Soothing-Moisturizing-Nourishing. In addition, all of Burt's Bees products are made of 100% natural ingredients and the plastic tubes contain 50% post-industrial recycled plastics. PLUS, they're not tested on animals, so Burt's Bees are triple- good for the environment. They're really not at all expensive for what they're worth.

However, I really hate walking around with this baby-butt-poop smell on my lips, which are located right under my nose, which means I smell baby-butt-poop every where I go. SO, 4 out of 5 stars for this particular lip balm.

Best Lip Balm Ever!

My newly-found favorite chapstick: Eco Lips. It's made of organic ingredients only, it's SPF 30, and made in the US. AND IT SMELLS LIKE HONEY (= I was doubtful at first when my mom gave it to me; she got it for free. However, you shouldn't judge a product by its price! For some reason, mine says Kaiser Permanente on it, so maybe they sponsered Eco Lips?
